• detect text on pages and apply user-defined text replacement rules
• inspect image sources, source sets, or alt text to apply user-defined image filtering rules

Information Stored on Your Device

TriggerBlock stores the following information locally on your device using browser storage:

• text replacement rules you create
• image filtering rules you create
• whether the extension is enabled or disabled
• per-rule settings such as regex, case sensitivity, and enabled state

This information is stored locally and is used only to provide the extension’s functionality.

Information We Do Not Collect

TriggerBlock does not:

• require an account
• collect personal information for its own use
• send your rules or browsing data to our servers
• use analytics or telemetry
• use advertising SDKs
• track you across apps, websites, or services
• sell your personal information

Data Sharing

TriggerBlock does not share your data with third parties.

Permissions

TriggerBlock requests access to webpages in Safari because it must read and modify page content in order to perform the text replacement and image filtering functions chosen by the user.

Data Retention

Data created in TriggerBlock remains stored locally on your device until you edit or delete it, disable the extension, or remove the app or extension.

Children’s Privacy

TriggerBlock is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
